ADDE elects new board members
BRUSSELS, Belgium: During its annual general assembly, the Association of Dental Dealers in Europe (ADDE) re-elected its current president and vice president and elected new board members. The association commented that its board is composed of representatives from leading European dental industry associations.
During its 56th annual general assembly, which was held digitally on 19 May owing to the pandemic, ADDE members re-elected Ed Attenborough (UK) as ADDE president for a second two-year term.
Dr Pavel Smažík (Czech Republic) was re-elected as vice president and board member. Gerard Lavery (Ireland) and Martin Ravets (Belgium) were elected as new board members, and Attila Trägner (Austria), Jean Martin-Dondoz (France) and Etienne Barthet (Malta) were again appointed to the board. Dominique Deschietere (Belgium) will continue in his role as secretary-general.

Attenborough commented: “I am honoured to be re-elected as president of ADDE at a key time for dental dealers across Europe. We have a great team on the ADDE board and we look forward to supporting and representing the members as they cope with the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the new European medical devices regulations, new technology and new channels to market.”
The ADDE is a trade organisation active in the dental industry. It represents the interests of more than 960 dental dealers in Europe and publishes a survey on the European dental trade market trends annually.
